From an early age, I knew I was going to join the military. I signed up on the EEP (early entry program) in 1988 at the age of 17. Scoring well on the ASVAB, I was offered the MOS of 55G, Nuclear Weapons Specialist. I left for boot camp in July of 1989, which was held at Fort Dix, NJ. After completing basic training, I traveled to Redstone Arsenal, AL for 13 weeks of AIT. Completing AIT, in January, 1990, I was sent to the 64th Ordnance Company, Fischbach Germany, where I was stationed until it's closure in mid-1992, and I ETS'd from active duty in July, 1992.
I have been writing for years, with many more rejections in my hat than approvals. I was editor at Macabre Cadaver, a short lived spec-fiction magazine in the late 2000s, and self published short stories and a poetry chapbook.
